CASE SÄHKÖ-JOKINEN

Turning knowledge and skill into lasting digital capital

Sähkö-Jokinen is Finland's leading developer and manufacturer of outdoor lighting poles, with production covering outdoor lighting product families from lighting poles to foundations. Built on traffic safety engineering, the company has grown into a European exporter. From its headquarters in Noormarkku, more than one million concrete foundations now support its poles across Europe.

A modern, full-service partnership in which the same in-house team manages the entire chain, from strategic business development and custom software to photorealistic 3D, graphic design, websites and ongoing content production. The usual information gaps between separate providers disappear, and Sähkö-Jokinen's brand stays consistent across every channel.

Custom AI assistant for quote calculation: Software designed and built for the company's internal use that automates parts of quote calculation and frees up a significant amount of the sales team's time.

Visual identity & brand design

Brand identity renewal: Modernizing the company's entire visual identity and graphic guidelines (colors, typography, overall look) and rolling them out across productions.

Export product brand: Complete design of a dedicated brand for the ELEMENT export product: logo and identity foundation, visual language and a publication-ready brand package.

Ensemble's in-house team keeps the visual identity intact and consistent across all productions. Quality assurance for every production is handled in our own studio by the people responsible for the design.

Video production

Marketing and story videos for YouTube and other channels, including the KAPU® pole story video and ELEMENT videos, from filming to finished production under one roof.

Script and storyboard: Narrative and message-driven scripting, shot analysis and a visual language based on the brand identity (colors, soundscapes, shot sizes, custom music).

Filming: A range of techniques in locations across Finland: brand videos, reference videos and combinations with animation.

Post-production: Editing, color grading, motion graphics and audio production.

What is this "me" exactly?

I've been working in the visual field since 2005. Throughout my career, I have undertaken various design tasks for various corporate clients, ranging from graphic design (corporate identities, campaign visuals, web adverts and print) to video production and copywriting. I have designed dozens of visual identities and customized user interfaces for websites, web and mobile applications and systems.

I have led large software projects and helped companies advance in designing and producing digital services from startups to international enterprises.

For the past 12 years, I have had this amazing fortune to act and work as the creative CEO at Ensemble, alongside my beloved friends I admire and appreciate so, so much. Every day with this team is a dream come true for me as I strive to create a better company for all of us to work in.

My passion in work is to enthusiasticly create new solutions and competitive edge for our clients, helping them grow and optimize their business. Human to human interaction and vibing together is a crucial theme we deem most important in this age of faceless remotism.

With people, for people

At home, my most important role is being a mom to my little boy, and in a playful way, I'm a bit of a mom to our office too. As Client Director, I keep track of all the threads across our client relationships and projects, making sure the work gets done with the right priorities and on schedule. I'm the “friendly reminder” for clients and colleagues alike, and I make sure every meeting ends with clear notes (something I've been thanked for more than once). I love being part of solving our clients' problems and challenges, and figuring out how we could help them even better.

Nothing beats real trust and smooth collaboration, whether with our clients or within our team. I've spent close to a decade managing projects big and small, and that's where I feel I'm at my best. I'm not chasing individual wins. What truly satisfies me is succeeding together as a team. Delivering more than anyone expected. Hearing a client say their business has taken off thanks to our work. Those are the moments that stay with me and carry me through the tougher days.

The whole Ensemble team is like family to me, and I couldn't be more grateful to work every day with such a wonderful bunch of multi-talented people. Every morning I open the office door happy, starting my day in a place where I can be completely myself.

The contact form

When you send the form on Kari-Matti's page, we get your company's name, your name, e-mail address and phone number, and the topic you chose. We use them only to answer you and to discuss the matter you contacted us about (the basis: your request, and our legitimate interest in answering it). The form is delivered to us by e-mail through Resend (Resend, Inc., USA). We keep the message as long as the discussion continues, and at most two years after it ends, unless it leads to a customer relationship.

Google Analytics, only with your permission

If you allow it, we measure how the site is used with Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd): which pages are visited, roughly from where, on what kind of device, and whether the contact form or a phone number or e-mail address is used. It sets cookies (_ga and _ga_52D2RSLNFM, kept for up to two years) and doesn't give us your name or contact details. Google may process the data outside the EU under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. The data is kept for 14 months, as set in GA4. Without your permission, Google Analytics isn't loaded at all.

The site itself

The site runs on Vercel (Vercel Inc., USA), which keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses) to deliver it and keep it secure. The site sets no other cookies. The sound and the sculpture don't collect anything.

You can ask to see the data we have about you, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to its use, and take back your permission for analytics. Write to the address above. If you think we've handled your data wrongly, you can complain to the Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
